One could say it was a year of pure hell, but that would be a selfish view as plenty of families have been affected by the unexpected death of a loved one. But what made the death of the author’s husband, Drew, unique was that it exposed a non-survivable risk present on U.S. military based in Japan. A risk that ultimately caused his death and has led to other fatalities as well as near-fatal outcomes. This risk needs to be acknowledged and addressed. This testimonial aims to do just that.
Despite her struggles, the author also shares the blessings and lessons experienced in her survival, which she attributes to God.
